FateUnlimitedCodesRecomp: a native Windows version of the European PSP release, made by static recompilation with a PSPRecomp build modified for this game. A wizard checks your ISO, your PSP fonts, and PPSSPP, uses PPSSPP only to dump the decrypted EBOOT, and generates the private build on your machine; it isn’t needed to play. The PSP base works, though it may have errors and the battle voice volume still needs fixing; for now it only runs at the PSP’s native resolution. The plans are to combine it with the more detailed assets and the controls of the PS2 version, more resolutions, online play, and mods, and its author is also working on Android, PS4, PS5, PS Vita, and Linux versions that aren’t published yet.
You needYour own ISO of the European PSP release of Fate/Unlimited Codes (NPEH00007, version 1.01), the 18 PGF fonts from a PSP in a font.zip, and the official portable PPSSPP ZIP for Windows (1.20.4 or later). Plus 64-bit Windows, CMake 3.22 or later, and an internet connection the first time.
Fate/Unlimited Codes
Harskov/fate-unlimited-codes-jp
Work-in-progress matching decompilation of the Japanese PS2 release of Fate/Unlimited Codes (SLPM_551.08), built with the game’s original compiler, Metrowerks CodeWarrior, until it reproduces the executable byte for byte. It has 716 of 5,827 game functions, about 1% of the code; live progress comes from ByteMatch. It includes nothing from the game: you need the executable from your own disc. Its author states that much of the code was drafted with AI assistance (Claude), and that each function is accepted only when the build matches the original.
