Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (tekken-tag-tournament-2-pc)
shihabal3amri/tekken-tag-tournament-2-pc
A native Windows port of the Xbox 360 version, by static recompilation with XenonRecomp, with graphics, audio, and online code written for PC. An installer builds the game on your PC from your disc image and Title Update 3. It renders from 720p to 4K at 60 fps, has all 59 fighters unlocked, including the 10 that relied on Namco’s servers, and offers online Player Match over Steam, in beta. By default it removes the 2 frames of input delay the original game adds in offline modes. Leaderboards, World Arena, and replays relied on servers that no longer exist. All 10 of its commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Xbox 360 disc image (USA, Europe) and its Title Update 3. Plus 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, a DirectX 11 graphics card, and about 13 GB of free space; for online play, Steam running and signed in.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (Ultimate Edition)
Petexy/Tekken-Tag-2-Ultimate-Edition
An unofficial native Linux port of the Wii U edition, made by static recompilation: the game’s PowerPC code is translated to C++ ahead of time and runs as native x86-64 code on a reimplementation of the Wii U’s system libraries; there is no CPU emulation, and the game’s GPU commands and shaders are translated to Vulkan at runtime. The intro, menus, character select, arcade mode (played through by hand), and versus matches work, with sound and saves. It offers 120 fps on displays of 100 Hz or more (an extra frame is drawn between each two; logic and hitboxes stay at 60 Hz), resolutions up to 4x the original 720p, even frame pacing with VK_KHR_present_wait2, and button icons that follow the controller in use. A launcher (Ultimate Launcher, as an AppImage) builds the game on your PC from your copy and can add Tekken 7 fighters taken from your own Steam copy of that game. Version 0.1.1 (October 23) fixed installing on processors without AVX-512, such as the Steam Deck. 46 of its 49 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own copy of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition, European (WUP-P-AKNP) with update v16, as a .wua archive (Cemu can create one from an installed title) or a folder with code, content, and meta; Tekken.rpx must have SHA-256 fc0270465d384386f67804e48716e30bfbe85a5a1004e3a6bfe3ac75f9de5019. Optionally, your Steam copy of Tekken 7 for the extra fighters. Plus x86-64 Linux with AVX2 and FMA, and a GPU with Vulkan 1.3 and VK_EXT_external_memory_host.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (thatcalikid760)
thatcalikid760/TTT2-Recomp
A patched build of the native PC static recompilation of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for Xbox 360 (shihabal3amri’s, from which 0.1.7 is taken), with fixes and improvements for online play. The installer (ttt2_setup.exe, about 83 MB) builds the game’s files on your PC from your disc image: the recompiled C++ is generated with XenonRecomp on your machine and isn’t kept in the repository, which does hold the port’s code, the server, and the tools. It adds, among other things, updates from inside the game, graphics settings (V-Sync, render scale, FXAA, anisotropic filtering, sharpening), a Classic Offline mode, an unlock for Customize items, and a Fighting Lounge in testing. The latest version is 0.2.8 (October 29). 55 of its 61 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own disc image of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for Xbox 360 (USA or Europe) and Title Update 3. Windows 10 or 11.
