N64 Experimental

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Sands of Time

NekoNeko6330/SoTRecomp

A native PC port of Sands of Time, an Ocarina of Time (Master Quest Debug) hack made with z64rom, built with N64Recomp and RT64 on the Zelda64Recomp runtime and following the approach of the indigo branch of krm01/Zelda64Recomp. Because the hack isn’t built from the decompilation, there is no ELF to recompile: everything is recovered from the ROM (it is decompressed, the code and the 458 overlays are located, and functions are found with spimdisasm and the names from z64hdr); 462 code sections and about 11,000 functions are recompiled. The repository contains no game code or assets. According to the README it has been tested very little, and the enhancements of Zelda64Recomp’s Majora’s Mask version (widescreen HUD, gyro, autosave, dual analog) are not available. Version 1.0.0 (October 11) is the latest of 10 releases, with a Windows zip (36.8 MB), a Linux tar.gz (20 MB), and a mods zip. All 35 of its commits list Claude as a co-author.

You needYour own Sands of Time 1.22 ROM (OoT SoT 1.22.z64), the hack already applied; the README doesn’t explain how to get it. Windows or Linux.
