WWF No Mercy (jessetbh)

jessetbh/WWFNoMercyRecomp

A static recompilation of WWF No Mercy for Windows, with N64Recomp, N64ModernRuntime, and RT64, by the same author as the World Tour and Revenge ports already in this catalog. It’s in beta: it boots, plays through menus and matches with sound, controller, and keyboard, rumbles, and saves the cartridge’s flash memory automatically. There’s no decompilation of the game: its symbols come from its own disassembly. It adds widescreen, high resolution, menus with full control rebinding, and, as experimental options, 60 and 120 fps through interpolation, ray tracing with a lighting rig for every venue, a CRT filter, and HDR. It has a mods menu with a free camera, cheats, and a Quick Match tool, and many ROM hacks run as mods applied to your clean ROM.

You needYour own US WWF No Mercy ROM, revision 1; revision 0 and other regions won’t work. Plus Windows with a Direct3D 12 (Shader Model 6) or Vulkan 1.2 graphics card and a CPU with SSE4.1.

WWF No Mercy (Gadge64)

Gadge64/WWFNoMercyRecomp

An unofficial fork of jessetbh’s WWF No Mercy: Recompiled (N64Recomp, N64ModernRuntime, and RT64), called 60Hz Edition. It adds 60, 90, and 120 frames per second through interpolation in RT64, with small hooks in the recompiled code, a resolution option, mods and per-mod texture packs chosen in the launcher, a Linux and Steam Deck build, import and export of saves from Project64, Mupen, or RetroArch, and an Unlock Everything button. It is 9 commits ahead of the original and 119 behind. Version 0.2.2 (October 16) is the latest of 4 releases, with zips for Windows (17.7 MB) and Steam Deck (8 MB). The README says it was developed with AI assistance.

You needYour own US WWF No Mercy ROM, Rev 1 (SHA-1 91CEE3D096F4A76644D8B35B9AEAD6448909ABD1); Rev 0 and other regions are not accepted. A GPU with Direct3D 12 (Shader Model 6) or Vulkan 1.2. Windows 10 or 11, or Steam Deck and Linux.
