Brave Fencer Musashi
Game: Brave Fencer Musashi (PS1, 1998)
An experimental PC port of Brave Fencer Musashi (PlayStation, USA, SLUS-00726), built from a decompilation. The current runtime is hybrid: compiled native code plus a CPU interpreter; the fully native port remains a goal. There are test builds for Linux x86_64 and Windows x64, and the Windows build has only been run under Wine. The latest release is r55 (October 20), a Linux-only test prerelease, and the latest stable release according to the README is r38 (October 2). The README says that neither finishing the game nor full graphics and audio fidelity has been verified; the next milestone is Chapter 1 playable end to end, with saving. 6 of its 9 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own US disc (SLUS-00726) as a .cue/.bin dump (a 2048-byte .iso does not work, and all tracks must be kept together); no BIOS needed. Linux x86_64 with glibc 2.38 or later and GLIBCXX_3.4.32, or Windows x64.
