Downhill Domination

Game: Downhill Domination (PS2, 2003)

Downhill Revived: a native Windows port of Downhill Domination (PlayStation 2, Incognito Entertainment / SCEA, 2003), built on a matching decompilation that compiles back to the original program byte for byte: the port builds that code for PC and replaces the PS2 hardware with native code. dhd.exe holds only the translated code, and at every start it reads strings, tables, and vector unit microcode from your disc image, after checking it is the unchanged original. It offers a native Direct3D 11 renderer (the exact emulation path is kept as a reference), 60 fps with even frame pacing, internal resolution from 1x to 4x, Hor+ widescreen, the game’s movies, a PC SETTINGS menu inside the game’s own options, a sharp font generated in memory, texture packs made for PCSX2, saves as plain files, automatic updates, controllers (Xbox, DualSense, DualShock 4, Switch Pro, 8BitDo, and more), whole races on the keyboard, and 2-to-4-player online races (experimental) on a project server. Version 0.3.1 (October 24) fixes a startup failure when another program held memory the game needs; online rooms only accept the same version. GPL-3.0 license. All 38 of the repository’s commits list Claude as a co-author.

You needYour own copy of the US disc of Downhill Domination (SCUS-97177), dumped by you to an .iso; other regions and modified images aren’t supported. Plus Windows with Direct3D 11.
