Jackie Chan Stuntmaster (ReChan)
Game: Jackie Chan Stuntmaster (PS1, 2000)
ReChan: a reimplementation of Jackie Chan Stuntmaster, the PlayStation game, written in C++ for PC through reverse engineering. It isn’t a PS1 emulator: it rewrites the game logic, rebuilds its data structures and formats, and tries to match the original behavior, after a long effort of documenting the original code. It started in October 2025 and targets the NTSC-U version (SLUS-00684). It adds keyboard and mouse, HOR+ widescreen, higher resolution, PC-specific settings, and quality-of-life improvements. On first launch it checks the disc image and extracts the required assets with its own extractor, with no separate tool needed; afterward the image can be deleted. The most recent pre-release is 1.0.2 (October 13, 2026), with fixes for crashes, enemies, and cutscene scripts; it runs on 64-bit (x86-64) Windows and Linux, and the project also publishes a Switch build. The package includes new files made by the project’s author (text, fonts, and textures), not taken from the game. Code under the MIT license.
You needA disc image (.bin or .iso) of your own US copy of Jackie Chan Stuntmaster for PS1 (SLUS-00684) in a discimage folder beside the executable; the PAL version isn’t supported. Plus 64-bit Windows or Linux (x86-64).
