NBA Street Vol. 2
Game: NBA Street Vol. 2 (PS2, 2003)
A from-scratch rebuild, in Rust, of NBA Street Vol. 2 for PC, called Streetball Revival, with the online play the original never had: up to six players, three a side, over the internet or a home network. It is a reimplementation written to be compatible with the PS2 game, and it reads the data from your disc image at run time; the repository contains no discs, executables, art, models, music, or code from the original game. It is a public beta: according to the README, most of the game plays like the original, some things are still being matched, and online play is a work in progress that needs testing. There are builds for Windows and Linux; v0.1.4-beta is from October 27. The README declares that Claude wrote much of the code, and all of its last 100 commits list it as a co-author.
