Rampage: Total Destruction

Game: Rampage: Total Destruction (PS2, 2006)

A native PC port of Rampage: Total Destruction that plays from your own disc; the repository includes no game files. It has two halves: a base recompiled with PS2Recomp, which runs the real game logic and serves as the reference, and a reimplementation whose formats are documented in docs/ and checked byte for byte against every file on the disc, with readable native code for scripts, data, the renderer, and the game systems. The README says it can be played from start to end in the native port, with the front end, the campaign’s seven cities, bosses, credits, the other modes, and one or two players, and that it has been played on Windows; the Switch, Vita, and phone builds have not yet been tried on real hardware. Optionally, with the files from your own Wii disc, it adds that version’s ten extra monsters. Version 1.2.1 is from October 28. All of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.

You needYour own copy of Rampage: Total Destruction for PS2, European (SLES-53800, SLES_538.00 version 1.00) or American (SLUS-21323, SLUS_213.23 version 1.01), which hold the same game byte for byte; as an .iso image, or with the files extracted from the disc. There are builds for Windows (RampageRE.exe), Linux, Android, Switch, and Vita.
