Sakura Wars
Game: Sakura Wars (PS4, 2019)
An experimental, game-specific compatibility runtime for x86-64 Linux (tested on Fedora). It prepares and runs the original x86-64 code of the PlayStation 4 version, supplies implementations of the console’s services, and uses a Vulkan renderer derived from shadPS4; the README states it is not a general-purpose PS4 emulator. The launcher includes its own installer for the 1.01 update and for DLC, and graphics settings (resolution up to 4K, FSR 3.1 or FSR 4, sharpening, anisotropic filtering) are changed in the game. The README describes it as experimental and playable through Chapter 3, without a verified full playthrough. Version 1.0 (October 28) is the latest release.
You needYour own extracted, unencrypted CUSA16429 folder (with sce_sys/param.sfo, eboot.bin, and sce_module), version 1.00 or 1.01; version 1.01 is required to play, and if you have 1.00 the launcher asks for your own 1.01 update PKG and modifies the folder in place. Plus x86-64 Linux with glibc 2.35 or newer, Python 3, and a Vulkan 1.3 driver; ARM64 and CPU translation layers are not supported.
