Adventure Island II
Game: Adventure Island II (NES / Famicom, 1991)
A native Windows frontend and a game-specific static core for the NES Adventure Island II. According to the README, the game’s executable paths were analyzed before the application was built and emitted as a fixed catalog of 16,544 exact physical-bank and program-counter identities; a native dispatcher executes only the records that catalog admits. It uses no general interpreter loop, dynamic recompilation, or emulator fallback, and anything unknown stops execution with a diagnostic. The runtime includes the NES CPU bus, PPU, APU, DMA, input, and the MMC3B mapper. The launcher configures audio, video, and controls and saves snapshots and screenshots. Version 1.0.0 (August 26) is the only release, for Windows.
