Initial D: Street Stage
Game: Initial D: Street Stage (PSP, 2006)
A native Windows port of the PSP’s Initial D Street Stage (ULJM05093): the PSP’s MIPS BOOT.BIN is statically recompiled to C and linked against a hand-written runtime that replaces the PSP’s OS and hardware. All game data comes from your ISO. It offers high resolution and interpolated frames, remappable gamepad and keyboard, party races over LAN or the internet for up to 4 players, online leaderboards with ghost racing, up to 8 of your own ghosts at once, a replay theatre with MP4 export, and a modding layer for cars, courses, music, skins, and skyboxes. It is installed from a Windows zip; version 0.97.0 (October 28) is the latest. 8 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own PSP ISO image of Initial D Street Stage (ULJM05093), in the game folder next to initiald.exe (Japanese) or initiald_en.exe (English). Plus 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and a GPU with Direct3D 11; Steam is optional and only for the online rooms.
