Jet Moto 2
Game: Jet Moto 2 (PS1, 1997)
A native PC version of Jet Moto 2: Championship Edition (PlayStation, 1998, SCUS-94167), made by statically recompiling the game’s MIPS code to C# with RecompOne; no emulator and no BIOS. It is an early release tested on Windows 11 x64 only: boot logos, title and menus, the attract demo, and a full player-controlled race (tried on Slickrock Gorge) work, with keyboard input and a cheats menu. Sound and CD music, memory card saving, the other 19 tracks, season modes, two-player, and gamepads are untested. It adds 60 fps through interpolation, PGXP, widescreen races (16:10, 16:9, or 21:9), and internal resolution from 1x to 8x. The first run recompiles the game from your disc. Version 0.1.5 (October 21) is the latest release. The README states it was made with heavy AI assistance (Claude), and all 7 of its commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own dump of the US Championship Edition (SCUS-94167): a .cue with 17 .bin tracks, with Redump names, in the disc folder. Plus Windows x64 and the .NET 10 SDK.
