MLB Power Pros 2008
Game: MLB Power Pros 2008 (Wii, 2008)
A static recompilation of MLB Power Pros 2008 (Wii, USA, RL8E54) into a native Windows x64 and Linux x86_64 program, built on the translator and runtime of Wiicompiled, with its own launcher, mods, and tools to edit textures, rosters, and stadiums. It is not an emulator: the PowerPC code (main.dol and ovl_main.rel) is translated to C++ ahead of time and what the console provided is reimplemented. According to the README, boot, menus, and full matches work at 60 frames per second; Season, League, and MLB Life are reachable but not systematically tested. It offers Direct3D 12 or Vulkan, internal resolution from 1x to 4x, true 16:9 widescreen, AMD FSR 1, real MLB schedules, two-way players, and seasons beyond the original 10 (experimental). It is in beta on Windows; Linux and the Steam Deck are experimental. Version 0.1.5 is from October 24. The README states that nearly everything was written with Claude; 96 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.
