Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks
Game: Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks (Xbox, 2005)
A PC port of the Xbox version by static recompilation with XboxXBE-Recomp: the original Xbox code runs natively. There are Windows builds, with Direct3D 12, and since 0.2.0 (October 19) Linux builds too, with Vulkan. Its author reports finishing the whole campaign, though some graphical issues remain; Mortal Kombat II and The Suffering demo, both on the disc, don’t run. It adds resolution and render scale settings, display modes, keyboard and mouse, and remappable controller buttons. It has six languages with their voice acting, some of them as separate language packs, and an official mod catalog, the Krypt, that the launcher installs and updates. It states that AI is used for analysis, code changes, debugging, tests, and documentation, reviewed by the maintainer.
You needYour own copy of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks for Xbox, US or European release (ISO, XISO, ZIP, extracted folder, or default.xbe). Plus Windows 10 (1903 or later) or Linux (glibc 2.38 or later), an x64 CPU with SSE4.2 and POPCNT, and a Direct3D 12 or Vulkan 1.3 graphics card.
