NFL Blitz 2003
Game: NFL Blitz 2003 (GameCube, 2002)
A native Windows and Linux port of the GameCube version, made by static recompilation: the game’s PowerPC executable is translated into C++ from your disc image and compiled on your PC the first time you start it (about a minute on Windows). Graphics use Aurora (WebGPU/Dawn), audio is a PC implementation of the console’s DSP, and input goes through SDL3. It offers native widescreen, internal resolution up to 2880p with supersampling, a locked 60 fps, a settings menu with the game’s own cheat codes, Dolphin-compatible memory card saves, and HD texture packs in Dolphin format. The repository holds no game data and no game code, but the module built from your disc does contain code translated from the game, so it must not be shared. Version 1.1 is from October 22. All 47 of the repository’s commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own NFL Blitz 2003 disc image for GameCube (USA, GO3E5D), as ISO or compressed (RVZ, WIA, CISO, GCZ). On Windows, Python 3 and the Visual Studio 2022 Build Tools with C++ and Clang, needed once; on Linux, x86-64 with glibc 2.35 or later, a Vulkan driver, and python3.
