Point Blank
Game: Point Blank (PS1, 1997)
A native PC port of the PlayStation Point Blank, made by statically recompiling the game’s code with PSXRecomp: every function is translated from PlayStation code to C and compiled for your PC. The game thinks a Namco GunCon is plugged in, so you aim with the mouse and click to shoot, with no light gun; it also works with a gamepad, where the sticks move an on-screen sight and the right trigger fires. A second controller gives player 2 their own sight, red against blue. The long opening movies are skipped by default (switch them back on in the launcher’s Mods list) and the launcher offers FXAA, sharpening, brightness, higher internal resolution, fullscreen, VSync, and an FPS counter. It is for 64-bit Windows; v1.1.0 (October 4) is the latest release. 5 of its 6 commits list Claude as a co-author, and the README declares the port was made almost entirely with Claude Code.
