Tecmo’s Deception: Invitation to Darkness
Game: Tecmo’s Deception: Invitation to Darkness (PS1, 1996)
A PC port of Tecmo’s Deception: Invitation to Darkness (SLUS-00340), made with RecompOne from a fork of Voicedrew11/verdite2. It runs natively on Windows and Linux, with full analog gamepad support, keyboard and mouse look, fully remappable controls, memory card backup and restore, adjustable render scale, anisotropic filtering and mipmaps, optional side art on a 16:9 frame, and high-detail textures for walls and doors. The README calls it playable, but a full playthrough is not yet verified. Version 0.4.0 (October 23) has a Windows installer and zip. The repository description calls it an “AI driven attempt”, and 26 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own dump of the North American release (SLUS-00340), as cue/bin or CHD v5. The .NET 10 SDK is needed to build it.
