Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time
Game: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (SNES / Super Famicom, 1992)
A Windows port of the SNES version (USA), made with the author’s own SNESRecomp (the recompiler is a submodule in another of the author’s repositories). It supports up to two local players and installs with a Windows installer of about 5.7 MB that needs no Git, Python, Rust, CMake, or Visual Studio: it asks for your ROM, checks its SHA-256, and copies it to the user’s data folder. It offers a Classic mode and an HD mode with Scale2x toggled with F6, a launcher for video, audio, and controls, saves, and hotkeys. Version 1.0.2 is from October 27; an experimental Linux preview was also published on November 1. The README’s promotional images are illustrations, not captures.
You needYour own USA ROM of 1,048,576 bytes, without a copier header or patches (SHA-256 5b82cdd6f2da56f43680d6a5021faebe2e06036d30602c1a7917aa414cf8b5f4). 64-bit Windows 10 (1903 or later) and an OpenGL-capable graphics driver; there is an experimental Linux x86-64 preview.
