Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike
Game: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike (Xbox, 2005)
A native Windows version of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike (original Xbox, 2005). The game’s code is statically recompiled to C from its default.xbe with the xboxrecomp toolkit, in the author’s fork, and the Xbox hardware and system software are replaced with native code (kernel, NV2A GPU to Vulkan, MCPX APU to XAudio2, USB pads with SDL2, keyboard and mouse). According to the README, the whole single-player campaign and its cutscenes play through; multiplayer, co-op, System Link, and Xbox Live are not covered, and the port’s options menu works only with keyboard and mouse. It offers internal resolution from 1x to 6x, SMAA, FSR 1, RCAS, aspect ratios, and a shader cache. Version 1.0 is from October 26. All 8 of its commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needThe contents of your own Summit Strike Xbox disc, extracted (with default.xbe and its folders) into a game folder beside the executable. 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, a Vulkan 1.3 GPU, and the Visual C++ 2015–2022 Redistributable (x64).
