Virtual Pro Wrestling 64
Game: Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 (N64, 1997)
A static recompilation of Virtual Pro Wrestling 64, AKI’s Japan-only wrestling game, for Windows, with N64Recomp, N64ModernRuntime, and RT64; it’s a sibling of the same author’s World Tour and Revenge ports. It’s in beta: it boots, plays through menus and matches with sound, controller, and keyboard, rumbles, and saves automatically. There’s no decompilation of the game: its symbols come from its own disassembly. The game runs as it shipped, in Japanese, though a fan translation can be applied as a mod on top of your ROM. It adds widescreen, high resolution, English config menus with control rebinding, a virtual Controller Pak that saves and rumbles at once, and, as experimental options, 60 and 120 fps through interpolation, ray tracing with lighting for all seven arenas, a CRT filter, and HDR, plus a mods menu with a free camera and cheats. 2 of its 81 commits link a Claude Code session.
You needYour own unpatched Japanese Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 ROM. Plus Windows with a Direct3D 12 (Shader Model 6) or Vulkan 1.2 graphics card and a CPU with SSE4.1.
