Unofficial native ports of God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta (PSP) for Windows, made by static recompilation: every function of the game is recompiled to C, with no emulator. You download a single launcher that finds your disc images, builds each game (the first time it downloads portable tools, llvm-mingw, CMake, and Ninja, about 246 MB), and runs them, with internal resolution of 4K or more, MSAA, anisotropic filtering, FXAA, HDR10, 60, 120, and 144 fps or more, 21:9, keyboard and controllers, saving, and packs to dump and replace textures. 1.2.1 (October 23, 2026) is a preview: every level of both games loads and runs, but neither has had a full playthrough yet. Windows only for now. 29 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author. Licensed GPL-3.0. The repository includes analysis files (JSON and CSV with function fingerprints) generated from both games’ EBOOTs (the re folder, about 7 MB).

Sparta: a static recompilation of the PSP version, built on PortableKit. The console’s code is translated ahead of time into C++ and compiled for your machine, running on a reimplementation of the PSP’s system software and drawing through Vulkan; there is no emulator or JIT. There are builds for 64-bit Windows, macOS on Apple silicon (the first target), and Android. The first start asks for your .iso, checks it, and from then on goes straight to the game. It is an alpha: per the project only the beginning of the game has been played, so expect bugs, graphical glitches, and crashes. 0.1.7 (October 15) is the latest Windows build and 0.1.8 (October 15) the latest with macOS and Android. 56 of its 64 commits list Claude as a co-author.
