The Order: 1886 (theorder1886-port)

mateussmeneses/theorder1886-port

Windows port of The Order: 1886 for PS4, still in development. As with the Bloodborne and God of War III ports, the original executable runs directly on the PC’s CPU, with a runtime of its own replacing the PS4 system libraries, and the graphics are translated to Vulkan through shadPS4’s video core. For now it boots, starts a new game, and plays the prologue at the game’s own 30 fps; saving, AMD and Intel graphics cards, and other versions of the game haven’t been tested yet. 76 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.

You needYour own dump of the PS4 version (CUSA00035, version 01.02). Windows 10 or 11.

The Order: 1886 (JulioCacko)

JulioCacko/The-Order-1886_pc

A native port of the PlayStation 4 version for Windows and Linux, forked from SpartanPort. The original x86-64 executable runs on the PC’s processor, the PS4’s system interfaces are reimplemented, and a video core derived from shadPS4 translates the graphics commands and shaders to Vulkan. The README calls it a development preview: the title, menus, cinematics, and gameplay show from copied saves, at about 53 frames per second in the courtyard and 38 in the hotel lobby fight (RTX 3070, 60 FPS mode), but full progression and long-session stability are not accepted yet. On Linux it reaches the menu using software Vulkan. It includes a launcher written in Go, FSR 1 and, on Windows, FSR 3.1 or NVIDIA DLAA. Version 0.2.4 (October 28) is the latest release. 64 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.

You needYour own dump of The Order: 1886 for PS4 (CUSA00076), with or without update 1.02. Plus Windows or Linux and a Vulkan-capable graphics card.

The Order: 1886 (TOport)

IgorAugustoHH/The-Order-1886-PC-Port

TOport: The Order: 1886 running natively on Windows 10 and 11. The game runs directly on the PC’s processor, with no CPU emulation; only what differs between the PS4 and the PC is translated, Sony’s system functions and the GPU, whose commands and shaders become Vulkan. A dedicated launcher takes the game folder and starts it. It offers an “Original PS4” mode with the 2.40:1 cinematic camera and black bars, and 16:9 fullscreen options; NVIDIA DLSS in place of the game’s own temporal resolution (DLAA, Quality, Balanced, Performance, and Ultra Performance); a 30, 60, 90, or 120 fps limit; faster texture and lighting loading; shader preloading; 23 PS4 system languages; an in-game menu on the Insert key; a free camera in cutscenes; and PlayStation or Xbox controllers or keyboard. The current version, 0.1.3 (October 19), is a pre-release. On an RTX 2060 the project measures about 45-50 fps in heavy scenes in Original mode. 92 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.

You needYour own dump of The Order: 1886 (CUSA00785) from a copy you own, with update 1.02 applied (version 01.02): the port checks the version and refuses others. Plus 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and a Vulkan-capable graphics card; DLSS needs an NVIDIA RTX.
