GODZILLA
Game: GODZILLA (PS4, 2014)
An unofficial native port of the PlayStation 4 version for Windows 10 and 11, Linux, and the Steam Deck, and for macOS on Apple Silicon (experimental). The game’s x86-64 code runs directly on the PC’s processor; a runtime written for this port replaces the PS4’s system libraries (memory, threads, files, audio mixer, fonts, controller, saves, dialogs) and shadPS4’s video core translates the graphics commands and shaders to Vulkan. The project reuses the base of SpartanPort, the God of War III port, and adds, among other things, the Ngs2 audio mixer, rendering above 1080p, movies without stutter, and even frame pacing. On the Steam Deck it runs at 30 frames per second at 1080p. Online play (VS Mode) is not supported yet and only the US edition has been tested. Version 1.2.1 (October 29) is the latest release. All 44 of its commits list Claude as a co-author.
