Parasite Eve (Blizz127)
Game: Parasite Eve → (PS1, 1998)
A matching decompilation of Parasite Eve (PlayStation, USA, SLUS-00662) and a native Linux port that runs the decompiled game code; it is not an emulator and no BIOS is needed. According to the README, Day 1 plays from start to finish. The “native-only” build runs only native C, with no MIPS interpreter or CPU emulation: on a real disc image it plays from Day 1 to the opening of Day 2, and 377 of the 402 Day 2 room slots ran clean in a warp sweep, but it has not been tested by hand past Day 1. The latest release (native-only-e26d98fd) is from October 10. The README warns that the r5 binary contains code derived from Sony’s Psy-Q libraries and another author’s code, which is not in the repository’s source and is being replaced. 1 of its 10 commits lists Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own copy of Parasite Eve (USA) Disc 1 as a raw BIN/CUE image (a 495,531,120-byte .bin and its .cue); an .iso or .chd does not work directly. Linux x86-64.
