007: Nightfire (TGP482)
Game: 007: Nightfire → (Xbox, 2002)
An unofficial native PC port of the original Xbox version, with extended graphics options, keyboard and mouse support, and other enhancements, created with the Xbox XBE Recomp tool. You place the game files (an ISO or extracted data, from the USA or Europe releases) in the assets folder and, on running nightfire.exe, the first start compiles the game’s code for your PC, which only happens once. Settings are changed in the game’s options menu or in an overlay opened with F10: monitor, display mode, render resolution from 20% to 200%, field of view from 45 to 140 degrees (also the weapon’s), a frame cap or no cap instead of the Xbox’s 30, V-Sync, HDR10 output, ambient occlusion, MSAA, SMAA, anisotropic filtering, texture replacement and dumping, SDL3 controllers, and gyro aiming. The repository includes no game assets. The V1 release (a zip of about 73 MB) is from October 31.
You needYour own copy of 007: Nightfire for Xbox, USA or Europe release, as an ISO or with the extracted data in the assets folder. Windows with a Direct3D 12 GPU and, at minimum, a 2-core CPU with SSE4.2 and POPCNT.
