Crystal Defenders
Game: Crystal Defenders (Xbox 360, 2008)
Cristalis, a native port of Crystal Defenders, the Xbox Live Arcade game, for Windows (with an experimental Linux build): the game’s PowerPC code is translated ahead of time to C++ with XenonRecomp and runs on a small runtime written for this game. The repository holds none of the game’s code, but the programs on the release page are built from the translated code of a default.xex, meaning the published executable already carries translated game code; the pictures, sounds, music, and text are read from your copy. The program checks that your default.xex is the one the translation came from. It uses DarkLauncher, with a settings screen and pause menu in seven languages, six game languages, resolutions from 720p to 4K, HDR, local achievements, screenshots, Xbox and PlayStation controllers with vibration, a crash report that names the wave and stage, an installer, and updates. It is in beta: few people have played it so far. Version 1.10 is from October 21. The README states it was made 100% with Claude Code, and all 86 of the repository’s commits list it as a co-author.
