Fracture
Game: Fracture (Xbox 360, 2008)
Fracture for Xbox 360, recompiled to run natively on Windows (and on Steam Deck, where its README says it runs well under Proton), with Direct3D 12 or Vulkan rendering. It offers internal resolution from 1x to 4x the console’s 720p (tested at 3x and a steady 60 fps on an RTX 4080 SUPER), 60 fps switchable during play, an in-game settings menu, Xbox and PlayStation controllers, keyboard and mouse, and achievements. It supports two Xbox 360 disc releases. On first launch the program copies the game from your .iso and nothing else needs to be installed. The repository publishes the project’s code and the recompilation configuration but includes no game files; the release (about 59 MB) is a prebuilt executable. Its README calls it early days: it is playable from the start, but the whole campaign has not been played through. Version 0.4.0 is from October 29. 16 of its 18 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needA disc image (.iso) of your own Xbox 360 copy of Fracture (two releases are supported). 64-bit Windows 10 (1903 or later) or 11, or Steam Deck; a graphics card with Direct3D 12 or Vulkan and about 4 GB free.
