Galerians
Game: Galerians (PS1, 1999)
A native PC version of Galerians (PlayStation, 2000), made with the PSXRecomp static recompiler and the recomp-ui launcher. The game code is generated on your machine from your Disc 1 (all three discs boot the same executable, so one build plays the whole game) and uses the bundled OpenBIOS image, with no Sony BIOS. Version 0.1.1 (October 21) has packages for Windows x64, Linux x64, and macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel). It is an early release tested on Windows: it reaches the title and the start of the game, but play beyond the first room, saving and loading, changing discs, and the Linux and macOS packages remain untested. The launcher includes optional cheats. The README states it was made with AI assistance (Claude), and all 4 of its commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own three discs of Galerians (USA) as CUE/BIN, each CUE kept next to its BIN: Disc 1 SLUS-00986, Disc 2 SLUS-01098, and Disc 3 SLUS-01099. Windows, Linux, or macOS; on Linux and macOS you first install CMake, Ninja, Python 3, and a C/C++ compiler.
