Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition (blocker-3)
Game: Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition → (Switch, 2018)
HWDER: Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on Windows and Linux PCs, recompiled from your own Switch copy, with no emulator and no game files in the repository. A setup wizard downloads private build tools (about 260 MB) and builds the game on your PC in several minutes (about 15 on a ROG Ally running Linux). Over the Switch version it adds optional 120 fps battles, resolution from 0.5x to 3x of 1080p or unlocked, ultrawide with the HUD kept in a centered 16:9 area, anisotropic filtering, FXAA, sharpening, remappable controllers with rumble and gyro, two-player local co-op on one PC, mod support (Switch LayeredFS layouts work as they are), 3.2, 4, or 6 GB of game memory, the game’s 1.0.1 update, save import, and its own F1 menu. It is a fork with about 380 commits of its own ahead of the project it comes from. Version 0.3.3 (pre-release) is from October 30. 94 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own game dump (.nsp) and your own prod.keys from your Switch, which are read on every start and never copied; optionally the 1.0.1 update. 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 with a Vulkan 1.2 driver and an AVX2 CPU, or x86-64 Linux with glibc 2.35 or later, Vulkan 1.3, AVX2, and Python 3; several GB free for the build.
