Mortal Kombat Trilogy (N64)
Game: Mortal Kombat Trilogy → (PS1, 1996)
A static recompilation of the N64 Mortal Kombat Trilogy (USA, Rev 2) into a native Windows and Linux program, with splat, N64Recomp, RSPRecomp, N64ModernRuntime, and RT64. The repository contains no ROM and nothing generated from one: the Setup.bat script installs the tools, generates the code from your ROM, and builds the game. According to the README it is playable: it boots through the menus, the story, attract-mode demos, and 1-player games, with character select, the Choose Your Destiny tower, rounds against the CPU, combos, and meters, at 60 frames per second with music and sound effects; it was verified headless on Linux with software Vulkan, and a six-minute random-input soak test runs without crashing. 3,777 functions and the audio microcode were recompiled, and the graphics microcode is an exact hash match for RT64’s “F3D SDK 2.0E”. Its only release, 1.0.0 (October 28), has no files to download: you build it from the code. It has a single commit.
You needYour own Mortal Kombat Trilogy (USA) (Rev 2) ROM, big-endian .z64 (SHA-1 11f2488b21f9f7185c25905dd02c2955c35ad5c1), named “Mortal Kombat Trilogy (USA) (Rev 2).z64” in the project folder. Windows (one-click Setup.bat, which installs the tools and asks for administrator approval) or Linux.
