Native Windows and macOS builds of four GameCube games in the series (Naruto: Clash of Ninja, Clash of Ninja 2, and Gekitou Ninja Taisen! 3 and 4), made by static recompilation with gcn-recomp: the PowerPC code is translated to C and linked against a runtime that implements the console’s hardware, so it isn’t an emulator and, per the README, runs 7 to 9.5 times faster than the console’s 60 fps. A launcher with covers for the four games writes each one’s project into its own folder, reads the symbol maps from your disc, and builds the game on your PC in a few minutes; on Windows it first downloads about 190 MB of build tools. The repository contains no game data and no game folders. On Linux there is only a build from source. Version 1.5.1 is from October 29. All 37 of the repository’s commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own disc image of each game you want (IDs GNREDA, GNUEDA, G3NJDA, and G4NJDA), as ISO, CISO, RVZ, WIA, GCZ, WBFS, TGC, or NFS; it is read once and can then be deleted. 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 with nothing else, or macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon with a C++ compiler (xcode-select --install).
