Pac-Man Championship Edition
Game: Pac-Man Championship Edition (Xbox 360, 2007)
A native Windows build of Pac-Man Championship Edition (Xbox Live Arcade, 2007), made by statically recompiling the game’s PowerPC code to x86-64 with the ReXGlue SDK, which builds on Xenia’s kernel, GPU, and audio emulation. It adds a bonus random-mazes mode for Championship Mode (activated with R3 on the title screen; scores aren’t recorded) and moves the picture up so the maze’s neon frame is complete, since the original cuts it off at the bottom. It uses about 7% CPU in gameplay, runs at 60 fps on a Steam Deck under Proton, renders at your screen’s resolution with Vulkan or Direct3D 12, supports Xbox controllers and keyboard, and backs up saves and records achievements locally. Version 1.0.0 is from October 21. 75 of its 77 commits list Claude as a co-author.
