Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2
Game: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 (Xbox, 2004)
A native Windows port of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 2 (original Xbox, 2004). The game’s code is statically recompiled from default.xbe to C with the xboxrecomp toolkit (a fork of sp00nznet/xboxrecomp) and the Xbox hardware is replaced by native code: kernel, NV2A GPU on Vulkan, MCPX audio on XAudio2, controllers through SDL2, keyboard and mouse. The recompiled code is generated on your machine from your default.xbe. An options menu (Delete or Home) offers window mode, VSync, frame limit, internal resolution from 1× to 6×, aspect ratios, SMAA, FSR 1 upscaling, RCAS sharpening, volume, and reverb. Version 1.2 (October 26) is the latest. All 84 of its commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own copy of Ghost Recon 2 for the original Xbox, with the disc’s contents (extracted ISO, including default.xbe) in the game folder. 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, a graphics card with Vulkan 1.3, and the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2015–2022 (x64).
