Twisted Metal 4 (TechnicallyComputers)
Game: Twisted Metal 4 → (PS1, 1999)
A static recompilation of the US release (SCUS-94560, Rev 1), built with psxrecomp and the recomp-ui launcher, with builds for Windows, Linux, and macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon). It’s a separate project from jcoker85’s Twisted Metal 1–4 collection. The downloads include the built game and the free OpenBIOS; your own SCPH-1001 BIOS dump can be used too. It has rollback netplay between Windows and Linux, which its author calls playable though still maturing, and the launcher’s mod menu takes third-party mods. It can also be installed, updated, and built from Retro Launcher, a manager for recomps that build on your machine. It’s part of the R.A.I.D. (Retro AI Development) community, and 25 of its 174 commits list Claude or Cursor as co-author. The latest version is 0.3.37 (October 11). The repository includes the C generated from the game’s executable (SCUS_945.60), about 26 MB of it.
You needYour own US Twisted Metal 4 disc image (SCUS-94560, Rev 1): the .cue with its 23 .bin tracks. Plus 64-bit Windows, Linux, or macOS.
