Wario Land: Shake It!
Game: Wario Land: Shake It! (Wii, 2008)
WarioRecomp is an unofficial native PC port of Wario Land: Shake It! (Wii, 2008, US release RWLE01). The game’s PowerPC code is statically recompiled to C++ with WiiCompiled and runs as a regular Windows program, not in an emulator: the Wii system libraries are replaced with native code. It supports render resolution from 480p to 1440p, true 16:9 widescreen, windowed and fullscreen options, Direct3D 12 or Vulkan, frame interpolation to 120 FPS (experimental), gamepad and keyboard, and Wii Remote motion through L2/R2 (shake) and L1/R1 or the stick (tilt), plus the DualSense accelerometer. An experimental option removes the side panels in levels. The README calls it a testing build: it boots, saves, and is playable, but parts of the game are untested. Version 0.2.0 is from October 27. One of its 3 commits lists Claude as a co-author.
