WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 (nefariousjosiah)

Game: WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 → (Xbox 360, 2006)

The Xbox 360 version, recompiled to run natively on Windows and, according to its README, also on Linux and Steam Deck through Proton, with a native Direct3D 12 renderer on Windows and Vulkan on Linux. Its stated goal is to bring the game back as it was, with no mods, roster changes, or reworked gameplay: only what it needs to run well today. It offers 60 fps even in entrances and matches, where the original dropped to 30, resolutions from 480p to 8K, faster loading, an on-screen keyboard to name your superstar with a controller, the Create-a-Superstar photo, saves that don’t fail, the game’s text in English or Italian (the disc includes both), updates from inside the game, and Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, and Steam Deck controllers. It runs from an .iso image of your own disc; the repository publishes the code and the release (about 43 MB) ships the program. Version 2.2.1 is from October 24.

You needA disc image (.iso) of your own WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 disc for Xbox 360. 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 with a Direct3D 12 or Vulkan card; Linux and Steam Deck are also covered.
