SSX Tricky (GiZcesi)
GiZcesi/OpenTricky
OpenTricky: an unofficial PC port of the Xbox version by static recompilation with xboxrecomp; it continues MatiasRiveraC’s SSX Tricky PC. The Xbox’s graphics, sound, and input are reimplemented on Direct3D 11, XAudio2, and XInput. It’s an unstable release, but it plays from start to finish. It restores the original’s fog, lens flares, colors, and 5.1 sound, and adds any resolution, ultrawide, high frame rates, the original PS2 controls with all 15 grabs, remappable controls, smoother edges, soft shadows, longer draw distance, and optional HD textures, which aren’t included. A launcher with presets, including one for the Steam Deck, gathers the settings and updates itself with signed downloads. On Linux and the Steam Deck it runs through Proton.
You needAn image (.iso or .xiso) of your own US SSX Tricky Xbox disc; the PS2, GameCube, PAL, and Japanese versions won’t work. Plus 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and a Direct3D 11 graphics card; on Linux and the Steam Deck, Proton.

MatiasRiveraC/SSX-Tricky-PC
A native Windows port of the Xbox version, by static recompilation with xboxrecomp, with Direct3D 11, XAudio2, and XInput. It’s the project OpenTricky, also in this catalog, continues. It’s a work in progress: it boots, plays the intro movies with sound, runs the whole front end, and races against the AI at 60 fps through the finish and the results screen, and saves work. It adds any resolution drawn natively, the game’s own 16:9 widescreen mode, full mipmaps, up to 16x anisotropic filtering, up to 8x anti-aliasing, a launcher with settings, and remappable keyboard and controller controls. It states that Claude Code wrote most of the code, directed and tested by its author.
You needAn .iso image of your own US SSX Tricky Xbox disc, of the exact build the port was made from; the PS2 and GameCube versions won’t work. Plus 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and a Direct3D 11 graphics card.
