Driveclub (OverkillLabs3)
Game: Driveclub → (PS4, 2014)
DriveClub Recomp: despite the name, it isn’t a recompilation. The original x86-64 code of PS4 version 1.28 runs directly on the CPU, the PS4 system libraries are reimplemented, and GPU commands are translated to Vulkan, the way Wine and DXVK work. It’s playable on Windows from the menus through races, photo mode, and saves, at about 60 fps at 4K in the heaviest scenes on its test PC. Since 0.2.0 it replaces the game’s anti-aliasing with DLAA or FSR 3.1. It supports keyboard, any gamepad, and steering wheels with force feedback, pedals with a clutch, and an H-pattern shifter. It offers output from 720p to 8K, ultrawide with a field-of-view fix, an unlocked frame rate at normal game speed, a mods folder, and a benchmark in the launcher. DLC content can be unlocked from your own files. Online features don’t work. 2 of its 85 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own Driveclub PS4 dumps: the 1.28 update (with eboot.bin) and the base game (with game000.dat). It’s tested with the US release (CUSA00093) and also accepts the European one (CUSA00003). Plus 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, an Intel Haswell, AMD Excavator, or Ryzen CPU or newer, a Vulkan 1.3 graphics card, and about 40 GB of free space.
