Body Harvest (danielgomesvieira2000)
Game: Body Harvest → (N64, 1998)
Body Harvest: Recompiled, a native Windows and Linux port by static recompilation with N64Recomp, on N64ModernRuntime, with RT64 for rendering and RecompFrontend for the launcher. The recompiler reads the matching build of the game’s decompilation (body-harvest-decompilation), whose names it also uses, and the launcher and tooling come from the same author’s Wave Race 64: Recompiled. It adds widescreen at your window’s aspect ratio, a genuinely wider view in which the game also draws what’s at the sides, indoors included, with the radar, bars, and weapon panel anchored to the edges; a high frame rate through interpolation (the logic keeps its own 20 fps); graphics, sound, and controls settings with remapping; a mods tab; keyboard and controller; EEPROM saves; Rumble Pak; and a debug menu with a HUD editor. Version 0.1.0 (September 17) is very early: only the start, up to the first part of Greece, has been played, and vehicles, the later levels, and loading saves are untested. Its author states it was built with Claude Code, and all 36 of its commits carry Claude as co-author.
You needYour own US Body Harvest ROM (SHA-1 bbb6666f5014a473747ee4145f036d9fb25d7348), as .z64, .n64, .v64, or a ZIP; no other version works. Plus 64-bit Windows or Linux; the Linux build has only been run under WSL.
