Bloodborne (bbport)

deadinside28/bloodborne_pc

bbport: the PS4 game running natively on x86-64 Linux, and the first entry of its kind in this catalog. It’s neither a recomp nor a decomp, and its author puts it best: it’s the counterpart of Wine + DXVK for a single game. As in Wine, the original x86-64 code runs directly on the CPU, and a runtime written for this one game replaces the PS4 system libraries; as in DXVK, the graphics are translated to Vulkan, by a renderer derived from shadPS4 and heavily extended, including temporal upscaling with FSR 3.1, 4, and 4.1.1. The Supermedo fork brings all this to Windows with a launcher in 13 languages, DLSS, and beta online play. 92 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.

You needYour own decrypted Bloodborne dump with the 1.09 update (the folder with eboot.bin and sce_module). Any retail edition that has it works, such as CUSA00900, CUSA03173, or CUSA03023, because they all share the 1.09 executable, which is the one the community patches support (60/90 fps or unlocked, resolution, effects). The base 1.00 version crashes on start. The Old Hunters DLC is optional and comes from your own copy. No game files are included.

Bloodborne (Lantern Engine)

Awakenchan/LanternEngine

Lantern Engine (formerly BloodBorneButPc): a launcher and engine for playing Bloodborne on Windows, derived from bbport by way of DarkIzuku’s fork and largely reworked by its author. It works like bbport: the original x86-64 code runs directly on the CPU, a runtime made for this game replaces the PS4 system libraries, and the graphics are translated to Vulkan through shadPS4’s video core. It adds 30, 60, 90, 120, or 144 fps or uncapped, upscaling with DLSS and FSR 3.1, 4, and 4.1.1, FSR 3.1 frame generation, HDR, output resolutions up to 32:9, keyboard and mouse with key prompts, Xbox controller icons, cheats, trophies, mods, online co-op on The Hunter’s Dream servers, and many performance and memory fixes, including for 4–8 GB cards. The launcher updates itself and the in-game menu comes in several languages. The latest stable version is 0.9.36 (October 21).

You needYour own decrypted Bloodborne dump with update 1.09 (the folder with eboot.bin): CUSA03173 or, since 0.9.34, the US release CUSA00900. Plus 64-bit Windows and a Vulkan graphics card. No game files are included.

Bloodborne (bbhost)

droogie/bbhost

bbhost: a translation layer for playing Bloodborne on Windows and Linux, a project separate from bbport with the same approach. The game’s 1.09 executable runs unmodified on the CPU, bbhost reimplements all 660 PS4 system functions the game imports, PlayStation Network ones included, and the graphics are being moved from emulation to native code: each draw is built from FromSoftware’s engine objects and nearly all GCN shaders are decompiled to SPIR-V, though compute work still goes through an emulated command processor. About 30 of the game’s functions are already rewritten as source. Its author calls it playable, with the world, the bosses, and online sessions. It adds any resolution, ultrawide included (21:9 and 32:9), FSR 1, 30, 60, 90, or 120 fps or uncapped with the game’s timing corrected, keyboard and mouse with rebindable keys, PC settings pages inside the game’s own menus, the character appearance editor cut from the final game, mods that leave the game files alone (a randomizer, a boss rush, and the developers’ debug menu come with it), and online play between bbhost players on the private server The Hunter’s Dream, whose backend bbport also uses. It runs on the Steam Deck. 194 of its 224 commits list Claude as a co-author. The latest version is 0.2.18 (October 10).

You needYour own Bloodborne dump with the 1.09 update (copied over it or in its own folder beside the game, like CUSA00900 and CUSA00900-UPDATE) and the 1.09 eboot.bin decrypted to an ELF, with SHA-256 941f887a562aae054fac35af8cc8f27cf075f3d4cc2e029fb5ae2a663aaa5ae7; any other eboot won’t start. Plus 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 or Linux, or a Steam Deck, and a Vulkan 1.3 graphics card; 16 GB of RAM and 8 GB of video memory are recommended (6 GB NVIDIA cards play at 1080p). No game files are included.

⑂ Fork of deadinside28/bloodborne_pc

Bloodborne (Mrsuss60)

Mrsuss60/bloodborne_pc_windows_port

A Windows adaptation of the native Linux port bbport. It replaces the Linux kernel layer, memory mapping, and POSIX threading with a native Win32 runtime: the PS4 executable’s x86-64 code runs directly on the processor, with no emulation or JIT, and shadPS4’s Vulkan video core, with a multithreaded draw pipeline and FSR 3.1 and FSR 4 upscaling, handles the GPU. The README says it is playable on Windows: it boots, loads saves, and runs with audio and gamepad support. It adds a graphical launcher, 360-degree mouse look, 30, 60, 90, or uncapped frame rates through community patches, and persistent Vulkan pipeline caches. Version 0.7.2 (October 28) is the latest release.

You needYour own decrypted dump of Bloodborne for PS4 (CUSA03173, version 1.09), with eboot.bin. Plus 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, a Vulkan 1.3 graphics card (GeForce GTX 10-series or newer, Radeon RX 400-series or newer, or Intel Arc A-series), and an x86-64 processor with AVX 1.0 and SSE4.2.

Bloodborne (macOS)

Wooloomooloo2/bloodborne_mac_port

bloodborne_mac_port: a port to Apple silicon macOS of the native Bloodborne PC port. It runs the game’s original PS4 executable (CUSA03173, version 1.09): its x86-64 code runs directly under Rosetta 2, a lightweight runtime written in C replaces the PS4’s system libraries, and a shadPS4-derived video core translates GPU commands to native Metal (since 0.5.0; MoltenVK before), in a separate arm64 process. The README states it isn’t an emulator and contains no game code. On an Apple M4 Max it boots, lets you create a character and load saves, and runs at a locked 60 fps at 1080p and 1440p (and at native 4K), or upscaled with MetalFX, FSR 3.1, or TAA. According to the README, the current version is mac-v0.5.5 (October 24, 2026), a full release that rolls up the 0.5.4.3 to 0.5.4.5 pre-releases and fixes red flashes, a rare crash, and lifts; the downloads are an app and a package extraction tool. 93 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author. Licensed GPL-2.0.

You needYour own decrypted dump of Bloodborne for PS4 (CUSA03173, version 1.09); no game files are included. An Apple silicon Mac (the README tests on an M4 Max); the game runs under Rosetta 2.

⑂ Fork of deadinside28/bloodborne_pc
