Its stated status is honest and narrow: it reaches the intro cutscenes, verified with screenshots through the debug interface (correct background layers, sprites, palettes, and text, and progress between scenes). Broad gameplay coverage and audio verification are still pending.
You needYour own Mega Man X2 ROM (SNES, US version). Dumps with a 512-byte copier header are fine: it’s stripped automatically.
