Bloodborne (macOS, bmy)
Game: Bloodborne → (PS4, 2015)
Bloodborne on Apple Silicon as a Mac app: a macOS adaptation of deadinside28’s native port (bbport), kept current with each of its releases and based on bbport 0.6. Only the game’s own x86-64 code runs under Rosetta 2; the renderer, the Vulkan driver (KosmicKrisp, from Mesa, over Metal), and Apple’s Metal stack run as native Apple Silicon code in a separate process sharing the game’s memory. It offers a SwiftUI launcher, a Retina window, Core Audio, MetalFX or FSR 3.1 upscaling, output up to 4K from 4:3 to 32:9, an in-game settings menu, mods, and shadPS4-format patches. According to the README, the whole game boots, plays, saves, and loads, with sound, cutscenes, and a controller or keyboard and mouse, at about 60 fps in most areas at 1440p on an M5 Max; it has been tested on one Mac only and online play is not available. Version 0.6-v1-pre1 is from October 22. 98 of its last 100 commits list Claude as a co-author.
You needYour own decrypted copy of Bloodborne for PS4 (CUSA03173) with the 1.09 update merged in, as a folder with eboot.bin. An Apple Silicon Mac with macOS 26 or later, Rosetta 2, and the Command Line Tools (for Python 3).
